How is vehicle transport priced?
Vehicle transport costs a £99 call-out within the M25 or £150 outside it, plus £2.50 or £3.00 per loaded mile. A 50% deposit secures the booking and the balance is due on collection. Larger vehicles carry a size surcharge — £30 for an SUV or 4x4, £80 for a panel van and £120 for a Luton or long-wheelbase van — and same-day collection adds £10. Next working day and within three working days carry no extra charge.
Choose the right transport service
- Non-runner transport — project cars, seized brakes, missing wheels and anything that can't be driven.
- Auction and dealer delivery — collection from auction houses and moves between forecourts.
- Classic and prestige transport — fully enclosed, covered transport for valuable vehicles.
- Multi-car transport — up to six vehicles quoted and booked together.
- Trade accounts — standing arrangements and monthly invoicing for dealers, auctions and fleets.
Recovery or transport — what's the difference?
Transport is for planned moves where you choose the day. If a vehicle has broken down or been in an accident and needs collecting urgently, that's recovery — see our vehicle recovery services.
