How much does vehicle recovery cost?
Vehicle recovery costs a £99 call-out within the M25 or £150 outside it, plus £2.50 or £3.00 per loaded mile. Every mile the vehicle is loaded is charged, and that distance is the main thing that changes your price. Accident-damaged vehicles carry a £40 surcharge and seized wheels or no steering carry £30, reflecting the extra equipment involved.
Choose the right recovery service
- Breakdown recovery — the vehicle won't start or can't continue. Roadside, driveway or car park collection for cars, vans and motorcycles.
- Accident recovery — the vehicle has been damaged. Handles non-steering and seized vehicles, with a condition report available on request.
- Vehicle recovery in Kent — local coverage, towns and major roads across the county.
Not sure which one applies?
If the vehicle simply stopped working, start with breakdown recovery. If it's been in a collision, start with accident recovery. Both are booked and priced the same way, so picking the "wrong" one costs you nothing — call 020 3761 2836 and we'll sort it.
